Background

When the Iglaglic Empire fell apart, it was thought that all Iglaglic had been found and killed by their former slaves. It is not known how - and even the modern Iglaglic don't know how - but a small number had survived in various isolated places in the galaxy. From the four individuals a small colony grew in the area near Lago Gatun in present day Panama. Without their psionic capability, they struggled against the native predators and had difficulty gathering their own food.

In 2003, an ecological expedition brought six Iglaglic primals from Panama to the United States where they thrived in display cases at a new casino in Las Vegas. With the rapid increase in the population and small space, the Central finally emerged. It coaxed workers at the site to bring food and to increase the number and sizes of the display cases. It was patient and steadily its memory returned. Its power grew sufficient to send and receive broadcasts with other pockets of Iglaglic, each of whom was stranded on isolated planets throughout the region. And they developed a plan to bring about a new Iglaglic Empire.

Personality

The Central is motivated by instinct to dominate other life forms into subservience. It also seeks eventually to unite with other Iglaglic where it seeks to become the leading mind among the hives.

Powers

The Central is a powerful mentalist that can control other organic sentients fairly easily. It does less well with non-organic sentients and animals, and usually is unable to control machines through the force of its mind. Because of its composition of several primals, it is both somewhat resistant to attacks and somewhat vulnerable to things like disease.

Appearance

The Central appears to be an aggregation of hairless rodents clinging to each other. On occasion, some of the primals leave the Central or other primals become part of the aggregate.
