Background

The heavy breathing of one broke a deafening silence in the kitchen. Blood ran from many places mixing crimson with the bright red of his uniform. Captain Lion Red willed himself to rise and nearly faltered when seeing the limp bodies of his four teammates.

He walked to each closing their lifeless eyes. "Sweet Princess Snowflake Pink, I will miss your laughter. Reckless Hunter Ronin Blue, I will miss your camaraderie. Fun-loving Pilot Star Yellow, I will miss your levity. Wise Sensei Progress Green, I fear that you have been outwitted at last. I will join you soon, but not yet."

He walked to the robotics laboratory. Sure Captain Lion Red was dying, but he had to know what happened and was recording everything into the PDA. The door was left ajar; a drawer within was left open. A small case was opened on the bench and there were two empty slots and one slot containing a cylinder. Above the cylinder was labeled 'Verbal Programming', the labels above the empty slots were 'Self-Awareness', and 'Control'. Captain swore and swore again when he closed the case and saw it labeled 'Robot Jiro'.

But, after recording his discoveries on his PDA, he made a realization. He hacked and coughed up blood, already partially clotted. Willing his head to stop feeling light, he searched the other drawers until he found another case, this one slimmer, but still similar. He crushed the cylinder in the 'Control' slot then grabbed the other two.

In the danger room, Captain Lion Red had to pull down Robot Ichiro to the ground, as he was too weak to stand. But, he finally found what looked like a proper slot for the cylinders. He inserted the 'Self-Awareness' chip and then the 'Verbal Programming' chip.

"Active." Robot Ichiro said, nearly immediately. "Boot starting. Please wait five seconds... four... three... two... one... Self-Awareness active. Awaiting Program."

"You will accept no orders but mine by voice recognition and the Password 'Sumiko'. You will carry out justice." Captain ordered. He began to feel very very cold and began to lose his vision. He continued, "Go today and take my PDA to Police Officer Kaneshige Akitetsu. Tomorrow, begin to rebuild the team. Find the hero listed under file CLR537..."

Ichiro looked down at his dying master, Lion Red’s vital signs were erratic and there was nothing that would save him from the death that was fast approaching. He waited as he watched the light go from Lion Red’s eyes then he gently laid the man down and closed his eyes. Ichiro found this a strange compulsion he didn’t know why he felt the need to do it but he felt it appropriate.

Connecting to the bases computers he found Sensei Progress Green’s body and immediately went to him. He remained tied to the bases computers so he knew where all of the bushido agents in the base were, and was constantly monitoring them.

“KILL the Intruders!!!” The strange Voice screamed over his neural net. Strange, he did an immediate check of his systems… there was a secondary neural matrix, a second mind in his body… interesting, and obviously it had its own personality. Ichiro lifted his dead father’s body and his body began to transform. The liquid metal that covered his skeleton melded into rockets on his feet and he was out of the base before anyone knew he was even there.

Ichiro’s orders were absolute; he would remake the Senshudan one team and avenge his father and master… He found the detective on the Internet while he buried his father on a remote hill in the middle of the Ogawa forest one of his favorite places to visit when he was alive. Ichiro finished the job and did all the traditional blessings proper for burial and then after a moment of prayer for the departed as was custom he leapt almost a hundred meters into the air and activated his rocket boots… he did not want to desecrate his father’s grave. “Time to find the detective” Ichiro said to no one in particular, “Yes, and then to bushido” came the reply in an icy cold voice that would have chilled the blood in his veins if he had any.

Personality

Robot Ichiro is a highly advanced AI that has a second AI in its body. He has emotions, although he isn’t quite in control of them yet. He might make inappropriate outbursts of emotion; he is after all only 4 days old.

Powers

Ichiro is first an Android, he feels no pain, and on top of that he is very hard to damage. His exoskeleton creates a micron thick force field about his body to help keep the body in the correct shape. He is also a Power copier. He was built to assume the abilities of enemies that the Senshudan team fought so that they could practice against those powers.

Appearance

Technically he could look like anything he would like to but out of honor for his deceased creator he took upon the mantle of his favorite RPG character… Sephiroth. He looks like a version of Sephiroth made real. He is tall and somewhat skinny he has bright green eyes that burn red with flames if he is upset and long white hair. He “wears” the clothes that Sephiroth wears in the video game.
