Background

El Hueso came from an ancient Spanish noble family that had fallen into decadence and depravity. He was the latest incarnation of a fallen family. While Eduardo was extremely rich he didn’t use any of his wealth productively. Instead he wasted it on pointless pursuits; drugs, loose women, and gambling. Life proved to be quite cheap as well. As travelled the world he went deeper into the criminal underworld. It was in China that things took a turn for the worse.

With a knife Eduardo killed is first man and discovered that he liked it. Fleeing the authorities he came upon a hidden monastery of Shaolin monks. He was welcomed among the monks who had no love for the Chinese government. It was during his stay with the monks that Eduardo mastered the art of the knife. Eduardo could throw a knife at a target and hit the target ten times out of ten. After learning all about how to use knives, Eduardo was trained in the monasteries form of Kung Fu, snake style. It took Eduardo two years to master Snake Style Kung Fu. The exercises he learned from the monks gave Eduardo extreme flexibility.

Things came to a blood end when a Chinese military troop discovered the hidden monastery. The soldiers brought an armored personnel carrier with a 50 caliber machine gun mounted on a roof mounted turret. The monks didn’t stand a chance. Almost to a man they were slaughtered. Only the abbot, an ancient man with a long white beard, fled south into a mountainous range with deep gorges and towering peaks.

The pair hid out in caves and overhangs as they tried to avoid Chinese patrols. It was during a two week period that the abbot told Eduardo about his past. It turned out that he was originally a lin kuei, or a Forest Demon, which was the Chinese version of the Japanese ninja. The abbot was a master at throwing objects, mostly of the sharp kind. As they fled further south into the Himalayas the abbot started teaching Eduardo the lost skills of a lin kuei. The Chinese never caught them. Eduardo thought that the Chinese had given up on capturing them.

However, the journey proved too much for the old man. He developed a cough that grew worse the longer they traveled. One morning after hiding out in a shallow cave the abbot breathed his last. Three weeks later Eduardo was discovered by a roving patrol of Nepalese soldiers. He was taken to Katmandu and incarcerated for a week before being released after a hefty donation to the Nepalese officer in charge.

After leaving Nepal Eduardo returned to Europe and adopted the identity of El Hueso or the Bone. To disguise he activities he joined a circus as a knife thrower. Unknown to the circus and the audience, El Hueso has taken out a number of assassinations for hire. His name and costume has showed to inspire fear in any you hear it.

Personality

Eduardo is a killer plain and simple. He isn’t affected by the killing of others. He neither gets excited or upset when killer; it’s just something that he’s really good at. Rarely does Eduardo allow anything to get in the way of killing. His innate desire to kill is one of the main reason he took on the identity of El Hueso or the Bone is to instill fear in his victims just before he slices them to pieces.

The one thing that limits Eduardo’s killer instincts is the code that he follows. As an assassin he never shirks from concluding any assignment. He doesn’t go out of his way to kill innocents, so long as they don’t get in his way. The sure way to make an enemy of Eduardo is to prevent him from killing his target.

Eduardo is convinced that he’s the best in the world. He believes that there isn’t anything he cannot handle. He rarely thinks of other’s feelings, which is odd because of the way he feels about China White; whom he has been trying to seduce in his warped manor for quite some time.

Quote

"I am the shadow and the smoke, I rise. I am the ghost that hides in the night."

Powers

El Hueso is a dedicated athlete certainly on an Olympic level. He is extremely flexible and can get into small spaces that normal people never could fit it. He’s a highly skilled martial artist knowledgeable in Shaolin Snake Style Kung Fu and in An Ch’i. El Hueso typically uses a pair of knives which he claims were forged in Toledo Spain. The knives are so sharp that they can easily pierce through armor plating. El Hueso has shown an uncanny ability to find weak points in his foes defenses bringing down foes easily. He can also turn aside thrown missiles away from him. El Hueso has numerous knifes hidden on his body and can pull them out rapidly and throw them in the blink of an eye.

El Hueso wears a flexible reinforced costume that protects him from almost any attack. The mask of the costume has light filtering lens that provides El Hueso with from bright flashes of light. Furthermore, the lenses provide El Hueso the ability to see at night, which is his favorite time to take out an opponent.

Appearance

El Hueso wears a black bodysuit that completely covers his entire body. Inlayed over the bodysuit is an articulated framework that is shaped like a skeleton. El Hueso wears a mask that covers his entire face and is shaped like a skull. The eyes and nose slots are covered with ruby colored lens that completely disguise El Hueso. He’s armed with expensive knives with red lacquered handles. While El Hueso normally has two knives in each hand but have several more hidden about his body.

Outside of his El Hueso costume, Eduardo is a rather short man who’s extremely muscular from constantly working out. He has short wavy brown hair with a pencil thin mustache. Eduardo dresses in expensive clothes, but definitely comes across like typical eurotrash. If it wasn't for the poor dress of a dilettante would be a rather handsome man.
