Background

Early in the guerilla war against the Iglaglic, the Skellarians were provided a key technology that allowed them to fight against their invaders. Who gave it to them is still unknown and will likely never be known. After making several copies and training a handful of Skellar in the use of the Counter-Psion weapon, they put it to use.

And, for the first time in history, the Iglaglic were turned back. In the hands of the already naturally psionically resistant Skellar, this new weapon made them proof against the invaders.

Personality
With a proud heritage of lifting the seige of their homeworld, the members of the Counter-Psion Squadrons believe themselves to be special. Aside from that, they are especially vehement in their reactions to psionicists.

Powers

The Counter-Psions are equipped with Defensive Laser Blasters and Personal Deflector belts. However, the majority of their capability is with their psionic spectrum detectors and Counter-Psion Assembly. The latter provides both passive and reactive psionic defenses locally.

Appearance

While the Counter-Psions look like other Skellarians, they have a cybernetic implant on the back of their skull and temples that allow them to detect and analyze psionicism.
