The strange ship struggled to maintain altitude. The American fighter plane had seriously damaged the ship with missile fire. Xor-Caru swore by all the Gods, not that they were going to be of much use. The Skellarian scout ship was losing control, and was going to crash into the Pacific Ocean. The F-14 pilot flew overhead, a smile on his face. "Another one of those aliens was going down." thought the pilot.

"Brace for impact," Xor-Caru commanded to his remaining crew. The impact was devastating. Xor-Caru was thrown from his command chair and he was knocked out. The scout ship was quickly sunk.

A few minutes later Xor-Caru regained his senses. "Is anyone still functional?" Xor-Caru asked weakly. Only silence answered him. Painfully Xor-Caru got to his feet. Ichor leaked from an eye socket. With his good eye Xor-Caru saw that his remaining crew were non-functional. And the atmosphere in the ship was being corrupted. Xor-Caru had to act quickly.

"Computer, status report" growled Xor-Caru, the pain making him feel dizzy. Xor-Caru had to lean against a bulkhead to remain standing.

"Reporting," chimed the computer. "Internal report: Crew, none functional. Engine: 80% of normal. Star Drive: disabled. Communications: disabled. Navigation: disabled. Life Support: failing. Weapon Systems: disabled." intoned the computer in a flat emotionless voice.

"Reporting," chimed the computer again. "External report: Damage Assessment: Hull breach in section Sigfar. Dispatching maintenance drones for repairs. Sensors, report that ship is immersed in liquid substance. Pressure on hull is increasing. Outside temperature 56 Kulvar and falling." the computer finished it report.

"Awaiting further orders." chimed the computer to the cabin. Unfortunately there was no one to give it any. Xor-Caru had just died. The Skellarian scout ship slowly float down in the ocean and was forgotten.

A few years later....

Captain David Jones was a crusty old sea dog. He made his living fishing for Coho salmon in the Bering Sea. Most people avoided the captain because of his temper. As it was he only had two crewman on this voyage, Frederick Hazman, a German, and Jacques Farrier a French Canadian. Captain Jones called them Flotsam and Jetsam. They were a very loyal crew none the less.

The storm report for the day had a major storm heading their way. But like most fishing boat captains, David Jones was a man who like to play the odds. The longer they were out on the sea the more profit they could make. So he ignored the storm warnings.

The seas were starting to get really rough. Captains Jones ship the Lucky Bastard was starting to get really rocked by the waves and the wind. "Batten down the hatches you lubbers," commanded Captain Jones.

Flotsam and Jetsam both jumped to the command. However, before either one of them could react a powerful wave broadsided the Lucky Bastard. Flotsam and Jetsam were both knock to the floor of the cabin. Then the strangest thing happened; the ship struck something. The window's of the pilot's cabin shattered under the force of the collision. All three crewmen were thrown forward from the blow.

Only the captain remained standing. Then there was the sound of something breaking. A piece of the bow had broken off and plunged down into the pilot's cabin. Captain Jones was struck in the leg from the fallen timber; a large piece of it entered his leg. Another piece of the timber smashed his hand into a bloody pulp. Flotsam rushed to his captains aid, while Jetsam rushed outside to see what they had hit. The sonar on the ship hadn't detected anything.

The waves and the wind roared outside the damaged pilot's cabin, but Jetsam struggled forward towards the bow of the Lucky Bastard. Then he saw it. Whatever it was big. It took Jetsam a minute to decide what it could be, some kind of submarine; he just wasn't sure. The ship and the thing, Jetsam just couldn't come with a better word for it, had collided in the rough seas, and the bow of the Lucky Bastard, had been crushed in from the collision. Massive amounts of water was flowing into the hull of Captain Jones's ship. Jetsam only remained a moment longer when a flash of lightening illuminated what could be a hatch.

Jetsam returned to the cabin to find that Flotsam was trying his best to care for the captain. Things were looking really bad. Flotsam had done his best but it was obvious that the captain was dying. Jetsam told Flotsam about what they had hit, and that the Lucky Bastard was sinking. With no other options, Flotsam and Jetsam picked up their captain and carried him towards the strange ship.

It only took Jetsam a minute or two to get the hatch opened. He was always good at pick locks from the days when he was stealing cars. The hatched opened with a hiss, and both were greeted by a foul smell like that of rotting meat. However with no other options, the trio entered the ship.

"Frar tuuk drambish," intoned a voice inside the ship. Flotsam looked a Jetsam who shrugged. They carried the captain into the ship. Without warning the hatch closed plunging them into total darkness. "Frar tuuk drambish," the voice continued. As their eyes adjusted to the darkness a strange green illumination became evident near the floor.

"Halo, halo iz any one zere?" asked Jetsam.

The voice had just started to repeat itself when it stopped. Instead it said "Konfar. Suktaz flon ujdab."

"Fenkar ut zel flakun Syk." the voice intoned. Now the voice changed it said, "Aguardar otras ordenes." followed by "Attente d'autred d'ordres", quickly followed by "Erwarten der weiteren Auftrage."

"Vait, Vait," said Flotsam. "I know that one. It be German." said Flotsam who was very much confused. "It's saying ‘Awaiting Orders'." mused Flotsam.

"Zo, ask it if it parles in Anglish." said Jetsam. So Flotsam asked the voice, and instantly it started talking in a strangely accented English.

"Azk it where if zere is a medical bay?" said Jetsam not realizing the voice was now speaking English.

"Follow the dronez," the voice commanded. Soon out of the darkness a small squarish figure came into view. It gestured and Flotsam and Jetsam carried their captain into what appeared to be some kind of medical bay. They laid the captain who was unconscious onto a bed.

"Now vhat?" asked Flotsam. He barely got the words out before metallic arms came down from the ceiling and started working on the captain. When the machine started to remove the damaged parts of the captain his two crewmen tried to interfere, but ran right into a wall of force preventing them from coming to his aid. What followed was quite gruesome.

Neither one knew how long the mutilation went on. Realizing their captain must be dead Flotsam and Jetsam retreated to a what appeared to be a cabin to get some sleep. They were both exhausted. It was some time later when they were awaken from their sleep by a strange noise. Standing in the doorway to the cabin was a creature that looked like Captain Jones. However, there were a lot of changes in their captain. Strange metal plates cris-crossed the captains body. But the more horrify aspects of the change was his new arm and his new metallic peg leg.

"Well, did you batten down the hatches, likes I told ya to," asked Davey Jones. "Christ man do I have to everything."

Davey Jones has always been a crusty character. His temper is legendary among his crew who're now use to it. To others Davey Jones is known for blowing his top. Usually though it's the super- heroes who receive Davey Joneses wrath.

Davey Jones was impressed with the technology aboard the Skellarian ship and realized how much money he could make with his new body and the Skellarian ship. The thought of it all sparked the little pirate that was living in Davey Jones. Soon, he'd be the richest man in the world.

Like most sailing men, Davey Jones is an opinionated man. Things must follow his logic; those who don't get the end of his harpoon. While Treasure might be the leader of Deep6, Davey Jones thinks women should be in the galley fixing him his food. Treasure is aware of Davey Joneses thoughts but sees him as too useful and too difficult to take care of.

At times, though, Davey Jones can get quite bitter about what happened to him. He knows that he's no longer human, and this usually fuels his temper. Also misses his lost trawler the Lucky Bastard.

"Well, why don't I blow you down."

Davey Jones is now complete a cyborg. His cyborg body is armored protecting him from almost any attack. The construction of the cybernetic body also provided Davey Jones with super-human strength. Also Davey Joneses body has it's own built-in life support system.

In addition Davey Joneses right arm was replaced with a multi-functional hook. This hook can be reshaped to be used in a variety of different lethal ways. Davey Jones call also extend the hook away from his body over short distances. Besides the hook, Davey Jones is equipped with a rocket propelled peg leg. This peg leg allows Davey Jones to propelling him through the water at great speeds. On dry land the peg leg can be used to rocket Davey Jones over long distances in great leaps and bounds.

Still aiding him in his crimes are his two loyal crewmen, Flotsam and Jetsam. The three of them have modified the Skellarian ship to become a submarine which Davey Jones dubbed "the Locker." When Davey Jones needs repairs he can only get them done at his ship.

Davey Jones is an impressive figure. While not of immense size the cybernetics on Davey Jones gives him an unusual amount of weight. For a costume, Davey Jones wears a yellow rain slicker to cover his cybernetics, along with a fisherman's hat. His face is wrinkled and very few cybernetics are visible on his face. Davey Jones has a long white beard, and what hair remains on his head is grey. Instead of a normal right hand or a right leg, Davey Jones has a cybernetic limb.
