Teagan is a United Nation's intern who has been assigned to Park Hyun-Ju and the East Timor mission. She is from Guam and has Chamorro and Filipino ancestry, as well as being a firm Roman Catholic. Since working with the United Nations, Teagan has discovered that the stories told to her by her grandmother about a curse on the family are true. Although she still can't manage to believe in magic and the mystical world, the United Nations and S.A.G.E. have revealed Teagan's innate anti-magical nature. The story, as told by Teagan's paternal grandmother, is that during the Japanese occupation of Guam during the Second World War, a Malesso' woman was murdered and the act led to a revolt amongst the captives. Many people were killed but Teagan's grandmother and her grandmother's sister survived. A terrible storm raged across the islands and in its wake the surviving prisoners found themselves free - the Japanese had vanished. The Americans attacked in the following days and the reason for the missing Japanese was never discovered, although it was generally assumed that they moved towards the area where the Americans were supposed to land. Teagan's grandmother believes that they were destroyed by the ancient Chamorro ancestor spirits. Amongst the Japanese forces there was a powerful mystic, a cruel and dark man who was the one who spilled the blood of the Malesso' woman. The ancestors cursed the Japanese and imbued the Malesso' women with defences against similar magic so that the travesty could never be repeated.

While S.A.G.E. and the United Nations experts cannot confirm Teagan's story they have shown that Teagan produces a kind of anti-magic aura which nullifies any magic or magical effect in a 60m radius. Other female members of her family have also shown similar abilities, although none of them have the raw power and reach of Teagan.

Teagan isn't really sure how to react to these revelations and is trying to enjoy working in East Timor as a driver and human rights worker.

Teagan loves driving her truck and is usually seen with a wide smile on her face as she peers over the steering wheel of the UN vehicle. Before coming to Dili she was enthusiastic and driven to try everything, but since being told of her magical heritage she has begun to have doubts about her role in the world. S.A.G.E. has asked for her help on a number of occasions already and she feels that perhaps she could be better off working in some other area where her powers could benefit more people. At the same time she is finding it difficult to actually convince herself to believe in the existence of magic. Most of the time she simply shakes her head, smiles and hopes everything falls into place as it has in the past.
"Yeah, sure, there's a goat-headed demon eating up all the chickens. Like I'm going to fall for that one again!"

Teagan projects an anti-magic field which has been identified by experts but not really explained. It is perhaps best described as a protection spell placed on the Malesso' women against evil magic. The field itself doesn't discriminate however and is able to cancel the effects of almost any kind of magic. In addition to this, Teagan also possesses the ability to perceive magic, although she has had little experience with this because most magical effects vanish before she gets a chance to view them.

Teagan is twenty-one years old and full of life. She has long brown hair which is usually tied into three long pony tails. She is almost always smiling and has a beautiful full white smile. She is thin but tough, showing herself quite capable of handling even the most troublesome of vehicles in difficult terrain.
