Torg'la Gryfn'n had always been enamored of the past. Whether the reading or holovid told of legend, folklore, or history, she had an avid hunger for it. By the time of her adolescence the semi-historical, semi-folkloric tale of Torg'la H'kial had completely captured her imagination. It was one of the few tales of a woman F'plrara knight who fought for her War Marshal against the vile forces of the Raiders of Bor'niac. The woman who did it all: fought against enemy champions, led armies and even a fleet, romanced the great warrior Duke, G'lrin of T'ross, and died leading a sally out of the Spire of Xok'tra to defeat the Raiders last army.

Torg'la worked hard at her goal and was rewarded by becoming the only female Star Knight of F'plrara of this generation. While all her peers turned to administrative positions or entered the service as Star Riders, she gained her insignia and her armor suit.

She emulated her namesake so much so that she, too, romanced a Duke's son. But only a year after their marriage, she was wearing crimson as her husband was slain in a battle with the Union of Civilized Worlds' Stellar Shield team. Upon his ashes she swore that she would avenge him.

After gaining several achievement badges including three combat commands she pushed to gain command of Chimera Force. They were the most likely to encounter the Stellar Shield, after all. As the team's leader, she looks forward to carrying out any mission the Federations ask of her, especially if she might come across the Stellar Shield.

Being the only female full Star Knight, Torg'la has something of a chip on her shoulder. Because of her accomplishments the male members of the knighthood and the senior female members of the Star Riders and Command have come to accept who she is and what she can do. Still, she feels like she has to prove herself, sometimes even beyond the criterium of always completing her mission.

Torg'la likes to think that she sets an example to other F'plrara women that, with hard work and determination, they can be Star Knights; they can be strong and valiant, and they can look classy and feminine at the same time.

"My sword and body are pledged to my people."

Torg'la Gryfn'n, Knight Errant, is better than most typical F'plrara Star Knights in most of her military skills. She can handle herself well in The Warrior's Art even against stronger male contestants. She shoots quickly and accurately as well and wears the armor to good effect.

Torg'la is petite for a F'plrara woman; she has a small frame covered with sinewy muscles. But the next thing that people notice is the ferocity that burns in her eyes. In private she likes to wear clothing reminiscent of the F'plraran medieval period. In public she wears the standard green and black uniform with knight's bandolier displaying achievement badges. Her armor suit is made to appear like that of Torg'la H'kial.
