Nigel Thornapple is the son of Egbert Thronapple and a famous Brtish gambler, and Abigail Thornapple, an equally famous actress. Nigel grew up in the lap of luxury. Both of his parents were quite successful. When Nigel was young his father took in under his wing, teaching him all the tricks of the trade. Nigel was hooked.

Over the years Nigel has proven to have his lucky streaks, usually at the expense of others. His favorite vice is horse racing. He has amassed a lot of wealth from the tracks. However, his winning streaks have occasionally come to an abrupt end. Recently Nigel traveled to Italy for the springtime races. At the last races in Rome things turned out badly. Nigel lost big time. To make up for his lossess Nigel to the Red Brigade for help.

The Red Brigade gave Nigel a large advance to buy them guns. However, only after a moments thought, Nigel was at another race track. Again his luck turned back. Nigel knew that the Red Brigade was going to be after hims. Once again Nigel made contact with some mafia chaps. He was to meet them at a circus near Verona.

Nigel is addicted to gambling. He has been gambling since he was a teenager. It takes a lot of effort for him to resist the temptation of placing a bet. He has bee known to break out in a sweat near a casino.

He projects to the world that he is a proper British citizen. As such, Nigel always seems to be calm when things are going wrong. He's known for his wry commments. Nigel often acts like Britain is still an empire.

"It looks like like it is going to be War Emblem by a head."

Nigel is a normal man in all respects. The one thing that seems to separate him from most is that can be increadibly lucky. However, his luck at times gives out on him. Usually those around him usually suffer the most.

Nigel is a skilled gambler. He's a skilled cardsharp, able to mark cards without people knowing about it. He learned this skill from his father. However, if Nigel were ever caught at cheating, he would try to talk his way out of th situation.

Nigel is a well traveled man; being on the run broades a mans horizons. As such Nigel has learned a number of different languages. However, like most British men, he prefers to pretend that he only understands English.

Nigel Thornapple looks like a typical British citizen. He's rather on the scrawny side and isn't very tall either. Nigel has light brown hair which he keeps cut short. A pencil thin mustache graces his upper lip. For dress, Nigel only goes for the most expensive pin stripped suits. A white carnation is always stuck in the lapel. Completing his daily dress is his bowler hat and umbrella.
