Background

After being abducted by Mengele when she was thirteen, Johanna found herself subjected to torture and experiments but she was soon shifted to the Blitzkrieg Batch where her powers of probability manipulation were harnessed by the doctor. When the Blitzkrieg Batch went independent, Johanna took the opportunity to start a career in cat burglary. While assisting Blitzkrieg with their acts of terrorism and sabotage, Johanna also managed to pull off several high profile heists. During one of these heists she and Queen Bee competed for the same prize, the Nettle Diamond. The encounter turned nasty when the two women turned away from the diamond and began fighting each other across the Paris skyline. Ever since that night, Johanna has gone out of her way to make the thieves of House Of Crime pay for that night.

Personality

Johanna is self-assured and sensuous, going to great lengths to show off her body and her interests in attractive men. She is playful, and avoids getting into situations where she is directly involved in dealing with death, although she knows that she has thrown in with a particularly dangerous crowd. Johanna is also something of a gambling addict, although her powers over probability make this obsession harmless as she almost always wins.

Powers

Kurse has always been lucky. She is able to manipulate the fields of probability in her favour, whether that means increasing her own fortune or decreasing the good fortune of others. In addition to these powers she is also an accomplished thief and acrobat.

Appearance

Kurse wears a skintight leather outfit with spiked cuffs around her wrists, thighs and throat. Out of costume, Johanna varies her outfits depending on her moods and latest wardrobe, never keeping the same outfit more than a week.
