Background

There are numerous dead spirits wandering the earth. Conde de la Muerte has developed a spell to create enchanted armor that only works for dead spirits to give them physical form. The spirits that wear the armor and bear the Soul-Piercing Swords are the Knights of the Living Dead

Personality

These creations of Conde de la Muerte are loyal to him. As with any collection of people (even dead people), they each have their own personality. However, as they are dead spirits commanded by the necromancer, their personalities are slightly diminished.

Powers

They are hard to 'kill' due to their inherent spirit nature which also allows them to walk on air. The armor is only moderately protective, but even more importantly keeps them in a physical form that makes them useful. The Knights of the Living Dead also bear a sword that affects the spirit as well as the physical.

Appearance

The Knights of the Living Dead appear as skeletons, rotting corpses, or ghosts wearing armor and bearing swords. The swords are of various sorts from gladii to katana to broadswords to cutlasses to scimitars and others from around the world. The armor likewise varies from the bronze age through modern types.
