Background

The alignment of the star would take place at midnight as the old man shuffled from place to place making adjustments to his final and greatest experiment; the Elixir of Life. True the Comte de Saint Germain had lived longer than any man had a right to, but the Comte wanted more and with the Elixir of Life flowing in his veins the possibilities were limitless. All it would take was the time, the special alchemical supplies that he had spent the last decade gathering and the expertise only a true master alchemist the like of only the Comte de Stain Germain could do.

With a skip in his step and the tune from his latest masterpiece on is lips the Comte poured the energized quicksilver into the etched pattern on the floor. Silvery liquid filled into the grooves forming a complex pattern on the floor, and at the center of the pattern in a depression in the floor sat the grail. He had spent even longer searching for the grail than he had spent time on any other project.

Personality

The de Montceau-les-Mines think they’re master manipulators, but as far as L’achemiste is concerned they don’t hold a candle compared to L’achemiste. There is nothing or anybody that L’achemiste won’t use to further his concerns. He sees the other members of the Les Enfants Terribles as an ends to a means. Using them he wants to recreate the Elixir of Life that he brought his mind to the future. This time however, the Comte de Saint Germain means to do the elixir correctly and thus achieve immortality. He won’t let anything interfere with this goal.

Claudine de Saint Germain is possessed by the mind of an 18th century mystic known at the Comte de Saint Germain. The comte has taken complete control of her body forcing Claudine’s mind into the background. However, there are times when Claudine has broken free from the comte’s control. When Claudine breaks free she has tried to get help against the comte, but in the end, the comte will always take control from Claudine forcing her back into the darkness of the subconscious.

Powers

The L'alchemiste is a master alchemist able to formulate almost any magical potion so long as he has access to his alchemy lab. Some of the potions that L'alchemiste has been known to use in the past is an invisibility potion, vial of explosive Greek Fire that burns anything it touches, to a potion that when poured into a basin allows L'alchemiste to peering the past. L'alchemiste is only limited to the kinds of potions by the ingredients that he can find; not easy in a modern world.

L'alchemiste has also designed a number of magical devices to protect him. He has treated his costume with alchemical chemicals that makes his costume as strong as armor. L'alchemiste also has a couple of personal charms that protects against intrusions to the mind as well as defense against drains and transfers. The most powerful weapons that L'alchemiste has besides all potions is a piece of the Philosophers’ Stone which can turn anything into something else.

Appearance

Claudine de Saint Germain is a slight girl with straight black hair that reaches down to her shoulders. Interwoven in her hair are charms that look like purple babbles. Her costume is a purple dress with green sleeves. L'alchemiste doesn’t wear a mask and typically uses her potions to keep her identity a secret. Typically when L'alchemiste isn’t in costume she still wears clothing that makes her look like she’s on her way to a Renaissance Fair.
