Background

Nakamoto Hiroshi was one of the greatest transportation engineers in the world. He was sought by three other men to help them build a super-robot to help protect Japan. So, he joined them thinking that it would bring him prestige. He designed the power systems and the motive controls for Black Dragon, the first MECHA in the world and would take turns with Kondo Masaru piloting Black Dragon, the first MECHA of the MECHA-Tai Japan superhero team.

But, while he thought that it would be fun to be a superhero and have the adulation of the public, he couldn't. He liked the 'super' part, but couldn't do the 'hero' part. He tended to use the most destructive means to capture (and sometimes) destroy supervillains. And, he took advantage of his role to garner money and the favors of women.

Tension grew in MECHA-Tai Japan. The other three came into the team wanting to be heroes. Hiroshi came into the team wanting to be famous and drive a big robot. They had found a replacement for him and on the night before the replacement's training was going to begin, he stole Black Dragon and wrecked the partially built Green Wolf and Red Tiger MECHAs.

Hiroshi had brought a gift to the man who wanted his talents and didn't need a hero. And the New Empire went about to modify the MECHA changing Black Dragon to Dragon Banzai.

Personality

Above all else, Hiroshi believes that if you have a vehicle that can destroy buildings without getting a dent, then why not do it? He loves to destroy things, the bigger the better. Sure he loves his country and wants to promote the tenets of the New Empire, blah, blah, blah... But, that's not why he joined up with them.

Powers

Hiroshi has no natural or supernatural powers or abilities. Since joining the New Empire, however, he has elected for cybernetic enhancement that allows him to have intimate control of Dragon Banzai. He also has special microchip ports that can be used to enhance his own abilities. However, he is gradually becoming addicted to the Stim Chip that was once used to train his CNS neurons to interact with the neuro-electronic interface

Appearance

An undistinguished Japanese man with a constant look of mischief, Hiroshi bleaches his hair and keeps it cut to two centimeters with a slightly longer tail giving him the look of a blond porcupine. Out of the MECHA, he wears a plain colored collared shirt, dockers, and stylish boots.
