Akhmed bin Khalid has been through a lot in his young life. When Akhmed was eighteen his family was growing poppies in Pakistan when his village was overrun by the Assembly. During the attack Akhmed's family and many others in the village were killed. As for Akhmed, he was trapped in a burning building, and would’ve died if it wasn’t for Saraswati who dragged him from the building. The fire burned a lot of Akhmed's body leaving a lot of scarring. Although showing concern for the burned boy, Saraswati was forced to leave him when Ganesh gave the order to pull out.

His rage and grief caused his Uber-powers to burst forth. Flames leaped out of the berserk teenager, burning all that was in his way. However, despite his rage, he was no match for the Indian superheroes. He fled the Assembly, and they’ve been chasing him ever since.


Al-Humra Nisr, or the Red Eagle, has become a totally driven individual. No one dares stand in his way. Those who do get burned. He blames the Indians for the death of his family, his injuries, and the domination of his people. He won’t rest until India is driven from Pakistan. This has become his mission in life. Al-Humra Nisr has become more and more aggressive in his attacks against the Indians. This is due to the frustration at his limited progress with his goals.

Akhmed revels in his flaming powers and the destruction he can cause. He’ll often take foolish risks to get at the hated Indians. His relationship with Saraswati is more of a love/hate relationship. Akhmed burns with desire for her, but hates her because of the attack on his village which she was involved with.

Al-Humra Nisr is an Uber who’s able to project and control fire with his mind. He’s able to project fire in a number of different ways. His most deadly attack is his Plasma Burst which can burn through almost anything. He is able to cause non-protected objects to melt into molten slag just by looking at them. He’s also able to toss a ball of flames that explodes upon impact.

By surrounding himself with flames Akhmed is also able to protect himself from most attacks. Those who actually touch him while his shield is up will get burned. Akhmed can use the shield to form wings on his back allowing him to fly. He’s now naturally immune to the effects of intense heat.


Al-Humra Nisr wears a red skintight body suit that covers his entire body except for his hands and face. He normally projects his flames from his hands. To hide his identity Akhmed wears a veil across his face. When using his fire powers, he’s constantly surrounded by flames and when he flies a pair of fiery wings burst forth from his back. Due to the fire, his body has burns over thirty percent and is horribly scarred.
