Jacqueline is an only child born into a wealthy family. At an early age her parents saw the exceptional intelligence of their daughter and set out to give her the best education money could afford. Their efforts paid off; at fifteen Jacqueline was accepted into Brown University's Psychology program and while her parents had hoped she would follow their footsteps and become a lawyer they were proud none-the-less. Throughout college she continued to excel at whatever subject she studied, completing her doctorate at the age of nineteen.

Due in part to her young age she had few friends and was considered somewhat odd by most of her peers. While others were at parties or on dates she would study in her dorm or play video games on the computer, another thing that set her apart from the other girls. She also developed an interest in the criminal mind, which she found fascinating.

It was that fascination which led to her alienation with her parents. They had dreams of her becoming a noted psychologist but she had other ideas; she wanted to put her knowledge to a practical use, as a profiler for the FBI. When her parents couldn't dissuade her of her, in their opinion, ridiculous notions they as much as disowned her, telling her not to bother coming home until she had come to her senses.

She was disappointed to find out the FBI did not have a position of "profiler" in the agency and she would have to wait until she turned twenty-three before she could hope to become a special agent. Not content to give up easily she continued to search for a way to make her dream come true. Her efforts paid off when she discovered a program to attract graduate students into a government career. This was the final straw in her already rocky relationship with her parents and they have not talked to her since that day.

It was a year into her fellowship when her powers began to manifest. At first only showing as a decreasing need for sleep, then needing no sleep at all, and then being able to control the unconcious mind of others.

Shy and introverted Jacqueline would prefer to have her nose stuck in a book or sit in front of a computer playing video games then socialize with her fellow teammates. This isn't to say she's unfriendly toward them but given the choice she will spend her time lost in her own world rather than try to fit in. Having never learned tact she tends to be very blunt with others, a fact that has at times led to hard feelings when what she has to say is unfavorable about the other person. The only time she does not appear to be shy is when she is doing what she loves best; delving into what makes a criminal tick.

"We're looking for someone who..."

Dreamer's powers deal with the unconscious mind, whether dreaming while asleep or awake. She can enter and/or change another's dreams while they are asleep, induce a dreamlike state in the waking causing them to stare into space and ignore their surroundings, read the minds of the sleeping or unconscious, and pinpoint with accuracy those same minds. Her need of sleep has been reduced as she can control her need to dream, she can also extend this ability to others for a short time.

Jacqueline is a pretty woman of twenty, who could be even prettier if she didn't ignore her appearance. She is usually found in jeans and tee shirts when not working. At work she does the minimum necessary to look professional though by lunch time the look starts to show signs of wear. Her thick, blond hair falls to her shoulders and is the one thing she always keeps neat.
